Located in the Bramfeld district in northeastern Hamburg is the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, which is maintained by the Simeon Parish. The cemetery opened in 1909, and the chapel was consecrated a year later. In 1937, the village of Bramfeld (Bram = Low German for “broom”) became a district of Hamburg.
