The Vienna Central Cemetery, opened in 1874, is one of the largest cemeteries in Europe and covers an area of approximately 2.5 square kilometers. It contains more than 3 million graves and is the final resting place for numerous prominent figures, including composers Johannes Brahms, Johann Strauss, and Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as musicians Udo Jürgens and Falco.
The cemetery is divided into different sections, including a Jewish section, which was established in 1880, a Buddhist section, and an area for babies who died far too young.
